Outboard motors Selva Marine are produced in Europe, in Italy. The design of modern models of Selva Marine engines is based on a proven industrial philosophy: maximum engine performance, technology excellence and highest reliability.
From the very beginning, Selva Marine was engaged in the production of boat engines. Due to the unsurpassed reliability and simplicity of design, the motors quickly gained popularity throughout Europe. Motors have been used successfully in circuit racing and straight line racing. Up until today, Selva motors have been used successfully in competitions where they successfully compete with Tohatsu, Mercury and Yamaha.
Selva two-stroke engines remain one of the most reliable due to the simplicity of their design, following the basic idea of Lorenzo Selva: simplicity and reliability. In connection with the environmental changes in Europe, the production of these engines was transferred to China, at the facilities of the ZONGSHEN production group. To this end, in 2007 Chongqing Zongshen-Selva Marine Co., LTD was formed, in which 50% of the shares belong directly to SELVA MARINE S.P.A. In addition to the 2-stroke, two models of simple single-cylinder four-stroke engines of 8 and 9.9 hp are assembled on Chinese soil.
Selva now produces 15 basic models of outboard motors in 44 different versions with a capacity of 2.5 hp or more. up to 80 hp A significant innovation for Selva was the creation of a four-stroke series of engines, born of cooperation with the company "Yamaha". This series now exists in 33 models in 94 different versions with capacity from 2.5 to 2x250 hp. The company manufactures many models of inflatable boats and RIBs from 2.0 to 9.6 m in length. The Selva fiberglass boat range also deserves praise.
Production complies with ISO9001: 2000 certification standards. All motors are tested directly at the factory. Due to this, Selva motors can be safely recommended not only for lovers of fishing, hunting, boat trips, but also professional fishermen, hunters and rescuers.
Subject to the rules of operation and proper care, Selva boat motors will reliably serve for many years.

Good morning . i have a selva Guppy 2.5 year 2019 out board motor. It is running very hot and the oil looks like its boiling. the impellar is pulling water and exhausting very hot hot water.
do you have any ideas for me please.

buongiorno ho selva s.tropez che va bene dopo riparazione. da manuale vite aria 2 giri o 2 e 1/2 ma così le candele sono scure. migliora solo con 1/2 giro vite aria. spilli carburatore nuovi. è normale? grazie.
